Allright, it's April. We've just survived a few tornadoes and stuff. Motorcycles are moving around, including my own and
birds are singing as spring approaches. Triumph sales continue to boom and now, along with the new Triumph Adventure 1200 we've already seen spy shots of the new Trophy based on the same engine and frame. Triumph never sits still and their sales reflect their ingenuity and dedication. They have just released
the 110th Anniversay Bonneville. They will sell out quick!
If only we could get our economy moving in this country. I know our fearless leader thinks the Great Socialist Experiment is the way to go, but, it has failed miserably. Hopefully, another one of his socialist experiments, "Obamacare", will be dealt a death blow by the Supreme Court if we are fortunate.
We are now less than a year away from the Presidential election. I don't know about you, but I am positive that a three legged, cross-eyed hound dog could do a better job than a man that thinks we have 57 states in this country and is constantly travelling the world apologizing for being from the United States of America. His latest initiative is to tie foreign aid to preferential treatment for homosexuals. I kid you not. Check the news. What's with this guy??? He has already announced he will not enforce or defend the Defense of Marriage Act which is the law of the land. What's the difference in discrimination based on gender, race, etc. and homosexuality you say? The difference is we are born male/female, black/white, etc. Homosexuals CHOOSE their lifestyle. If I choose to be a murderer or bank robber, I don't think I deserve special treatment because that's what I CHOSE! That's the difference my friend. This explaination is for all the intellectually challenged liberals out there. Now, in this country it's OK to choose to be anything you want. That's what is so great about America. Just don't whine and complain and try and get preferential treatment because of your choice. Nuff said.
As I write this, it is April, 2012. A new year is upon us. If we can get some positive results in the November elections, 2012 could be a great year indeed! Let's hope for no more hype and chains in 2012! Ride Fast, Harvey Mushman |
